Today is another rest day from a running perspective. So there is time for reflections.
December 28. That is the big day. The last long run of 2009. The last chance to get some nice kms in the 2009 count. What is more promising than to read Mr 3:19:57 last Blogg article? He claims that this run will be the "Route of Pure Pain" (RPP). I can only say that this is better than I had hoped for in my wildest dreams. To have a last long run. A last long run that is hard, full of inclines. Since it's end of December it might be cold, snowy and slippery. I just love it. This was probably one of the greatest christmas gifts so far. To have a pure, real, honest, dirty, crazy and wild RPP run! Thanks Mr 3:19:57.
Please dont disappoint us now. Get us out there Dec 28 16:00. The Route of Pure Pain. The Secret Long Run III will be a total success. I can feel and touch this route already.
Can I be more happy than this? Probably not. Thanks Mr 3:19:57. You make the life worth living. Push it up. Make it more extreme! RPP is totally here to stay.

So what do say now El Maco, do we need to insert two new categories of running in our naming convention, SLR & RPP ?
SvaraRaderaRPP =ROUTE OF PURE PAIN is wished for BAD from lifetime runners and RPP it will be!
SvaraRaderaPlz boys, be prepared, take care of your shapes during X-mas, dont let santa lead you in sin or temptation, eat your vitamines, take it easy with strong fluid and candies, and pray for a snow free christmas, otherwise th RPP will be more or less impossible to carry out.
My last words: -The RPP will NOT be a walk in the park......
