-5 up to 12 km, specially for tempo runs, use pure leightweight shoes, feel like flying compared to your tractor rubber soles (picture. 1, Nike Zoom Victory, zoncushioned)
-12 up to 20 km, use medium leightweight shoes for the comfort (picture.2, New balance 826, Leight Weight trainer)
-20 km and more, you need to use the heavy full cushioned boring tractor soles (quite obvious looking at picture.3, Nike Air Pegasus solid tractor soles..)
The above advices are focused on running feeling, ground contact, or in swedish "Löpkänsla"
My run today, short, ofc. in leightweights:
MR. 3.19.57
Since I never run shorter than 10k I guess he first pair is not for me at all :-)
SvaraRaderaI have a nice pair of leightweight as well. Saucony Fastswitch 2. I ran Stockholm Marathon 2008 in those. Big mistake. Don't know why I did it.
SvaraRaderaMr Legend. I believe that you are wrong regarding the distance. You should run shorter runs than 10km. Your body needs that! Read Daniels!
