I made my biggest misstake so far this year today. Temeprature was -13,5C and still i decided to run what was left up to 30 km. after 7 km i got big pain in my head, my body felt very week, i decided to take a shorter run. After this bloody 9 km "idiot" run i started shivering when i came in exactly the same sympthom as when you have a very high tmeperature. 3 hours later i still got headache and feel very weak. Conclusion: - No more running for me during these low temperatures, i dont care about number of km:s if i not feel ok. Never count me in if it is more than -6C.
Apart from the above debacle, my new Adidas Gore-Tex felt very comfortable and had a very good grip, perfect shoes for bad weather conditions, the fit was 100%, no chafe, they will be good for wet days in Ursvik as well, very nice shoes!
Tot.Distance week 4. 25,93 km
Summer picture enclosed, we all pray for better weather, dont we??

So sorry to hear this. So basically you will take it easy for some weeks now?
SvaraRaderaGreat that your shoes are good! Gore Tex sounds just right now, I totally agree!
Ihope not, i will definitely run if it is around -5 -6C, but not -10. Right now it feels that i will never run again, but it is better tomorrow. The thing is, i am not tired, it was an easy run today, i feel other strange things happen with my body during cold runs, i have felt it before. I will run with you tuesday morning depending on Temp!

Of course you shall rest if you don't feel Ok. I have read that running can make a lot of strain on your broncits and lungs if you have asthma-related problems....low temp can actually trigg thoose problems....read about it on Marathon.se.
SvaraRaderaWhy don't you have a look at "lungplus" there, it has received a lot of positive feedback...
