MAX

It's time to step up one step. Time to let go of those lazy thoughts. Time to say no when Szalkai says that you should only do 31 km during one week. It's time to MAX February. This is the time when all of us should ramp up. Regardless if we plan to run Skövde 6-timmars, Stockholm Marathon or some marathon in the US. February is here and February is a great month. This is the month that separate the runners from the "run when the weather is nice runners". In February the weather is - in general - not nice. It's windy, slushy, cloudy, chilly. It just sucks. But then we go for it. We go for the 10 on the amplifier.

As for this week I have so far done 65km. I will try to go for 80km. Means another 15k tomorrow. Well 15k shouldn't be a problem - right?

The following three weeks in February I will try to go somewhere between 60-80km. That means basically running as much as I can. As often as I can. Might even be some double running session in one day.

All of you. The bell rings! Time to jump on the train!

This is the MAX February train!

  2. Great to hear that Mr Legend. It's a delicate balance between chewing kms and getting injured. After these three days of running for me (27,5km, 9km and todays 18.5km) I feel very tense knees. Is it wise of me to go for 15km tomorrow? Probably not. But I feel that its a little bit like texas hold'em. I go all in now. I might be gone tomorrow but now I am going for it.

I am so utterly afraid that Skövde 6timmars will be totally pure pain. I want to be trained for that run. So February here we come!
