I have done two runs so far here in Björnrike. I had hoped to find some good nice running paths that didn't contain hills. This was harder to find than expected. Since we live in the middle of Björnrike you have just two ways to go - up or down. If you start down you will get the pain later. If you start up it starts right away. I understand that this is good for my Vértex Fjällmarathon training. But I don't want that now. My calfs are almost bleeding.
Anyway, yesterday I found kind of a good area to run in. Down at Björnvallen where there are a lot of parking lots. I think I will spend the most of my running sessions down there. Not that much fun but still runable streets. Ice everywhere so you really have to look every step if you don't want to get injured.
Time for some skiing now.

Ok, that's easy to understand ! Take a week off and enjoy the good skiing instead ! You will make Vällingby anyway....
SvaraRaderaActually I had two very easy weeks prior to Skövde. I don't think that i can afford myself another one of those weeks. Its a good way of training, first a full day skiing and then round it off with a nice run.
SvaraRaderaAre you not running anything now?
Yes I do now (yesterdau 11km & tomorrow I will do a 10km, hopefully a MR or TR). If I feel fresh I will go for a homerun on Friday afternoon. I have now started my lobbying-work on Mr Öqvist, he can absolutely join me now when Vasaloppet is done ........ He has approx 24km out to Gällsta-ö, perhaps a little bit to far for him right now, but some day :-) I am still considering Vällingby, but I think I will join ...
