Hello bike lovers!
Finally some good news from El Maco. Yesterday I made a last attempt to be able to run in todays marathon. I made a slow run. After 3km the pain came and I aborted. So no Vällingby Marathon today.
It´s April 10 and time to get some kms on the bike. 2008 I think that I had my first bike ride April 4 and last year April 6. So today is good date I think to start the chase to get at least 1000km before Vätternrundan. This year Vätternrundan is June 18 which means that I guess I have somewhere around 9-10 weeks to do 1000km. Should be doable.
Todays ride was 31km. I really hope that I will be able to ride the bike now when I can't run. Big question now is Lidingö Ultra. How on earth will I be able to run that race?

Great to read that your bikeing season has started. This is something I am in totlly lack of. Multi-training, that's your secret El Maco, and a key to long time success..... I must start up with something complementary, only running mkaes your muscles & fitness unbalanced......
