R90 premiere for Mr Legend

What took me so long ? As usual (when comes to clothing) El Maco was so dammned right, my new R90-jacket is really made for running, pure running .... I love R90 !!!!

Well, perhaps I looked a little bit tired here, just finnished my second longest training LR ever, Munsö kyrka - Brostugan 32,5km.

Read all about it;
http://connect.garmin.com/activity/31146148

Now when we can start to talk about elevation again on Garmin connect I have compared my latest marathons as follows;

Vällingby [ Gain: 253 Loss:265]
Växjö      [ Gain: 150 Loss:147]
Helsinki   [ Gain: 324 Loss: 322]
Stocholm [ Gain: 394 Loss: 388]
Rome      [ Gain: 273 Loss: 273]
Latest LR above [ Gain: 255 Loss: 261] extrapolated to 42,2 gives [ Gain: 330 Loss: 338].

I would be nice to hear your comments around these figures. I can accept most of the figures above except from Rome...  Rome for me was almost totally flat compared to Vällingby..... so here I am still confused...

So, finally my latest challange, taking care of the next generation since this long running activities doesn't seem to be to healthy.... (look at our injury-list !)...
So, when you see me using KPM naming in GC it is all about my new "trainer"-role for Munsö-kids.....
Believe it or not but these young boys just love cruise interval...... :-)

  2. Love the jacket! Soon you are just like El Maco (minus the compression socks and minus the injury)

    As for myself. Very difficult to say anything. I might go for a 2km run today. Just to understand that everything sucks. The pain is really not that "direct" so it might be good to take a few steps and feel like shit again.
    Yes - I am a very winy old sad man...

    Honestly - both Stockholm Marathon and Vätternrundan is highly in risk now.

  3. Wow! Great run! (And cool jacket!)

    Looks like you are ready for Lidingö Ultra!

    And that is really great that you are coaching the kids! Mr. Legend's excellent advice will live on in future runners!

    Keep us posted on their progress!

  6. Oh now, 28km is so great ! I am still not so sure about the logic behind training sessions above 30km....
