GarminConnect and my knee is a success!

Will write more late. I just have to say that I love the new update of GarminConnect! It is so good! I love the fact that the elevation is up and running again. I love that it shows total moving time. I love that I can choose next activity when I check Mr Legends GarminConnect. I love that I can edit the distance etc of a running session if the battery died etc.

So the knee success? Well, I actually ran 5km. Pain? No, I didn't feel pain. I felt something but not pain. I am really happy about that. I will make a long stretch now and see what happens tomorrow. I understand that the best thing would be to skip Vällingby anyway. I will decide Friday evening. But I will make another run tomorrow just to see how I feel!

Guys! Check more regarding your GarminConnect. This is the best thing that has happened since ages!

  1. So good news El Maco ! Both GC and your knee. Take it careful and test again tomorrow. And as we said regarding Vällingby, this is a good LR-opportunity. If you end up DNF, so what !!!!
Lidingö ultra is our main goal now isn't it ?

  2. Thanks. But I have to say that after 30 minutes I can really feel my knee. It says "hello owner, what did you do? you are hurting me". So I guess that I should take it slow and not run Vällingby. What do you say guys? Run or not run?

  3. Of course you should not run if the signal is "why are you hurting me", I thought the signal was more like "something feels but it does not hurt, so keep on running man"......

Tomorrow you find out, spend 50min in 6,00 tempo and tell us the story afterwards.......

  4. Great to see all the commentary!

El Maco, I agree with Mr. Legend and Mylay on your return to running. If it hurts, don't push it. You don't want to be sitting on the sidelines all spring and summer, a bitter, angry, injured shell of your former self! (-:

As for Garmin Connect, that is fantastic news!

  5. Just love GC more and more! It's like the good old MB but better!

Will do as Mr Legend suggests. Will try for a longer run tomorrow, appr 8 or 9km. Zero pain might imply a start on Saturday. Pain means no start. Right now, 4 hours after my 5k run I feel ok, no pain.

  6. Why is the three year trend not updated Mr Legend?
