Ok, not good news, but at least you are not planning to make it worse by trying to go 42 KM's on Saturday. Do what you have to do to recover. Lidingo Ultra and Stockholm Marathon are still doable.
Yepp. I understood that after appr 5km today. I felt too much from the right knee. I might think that this is actually a light version of runners knee. Why on earth did I run those quantities in Björnrike! Totally crazy and idiotic!
I will go for some bike rides during this weekend. Hopefully it's easier to ride a bike.
Ok, I honestly share a little bit of your frustration, you are right now in such a good shape after 5month of excellent training (ok except for the knee) but a very wise decision. We planned it as a real smooth LR and Vällinby is absolutley not a major one. And ... if this is a true runners knee there are a lot of good stretching that can eliminate it for the future. I will however try anyway to keep 5,45 - 5,50 tempo as I announced first 20k in Vällingby, all in the greatest El Maco spirit :-)
