Mr Legend. Your latest run today. Check your comment below. "This low tempo". This was no slow tempo! This was semi fast! A slow pace would be slower than 6:00!
So if you are weak! Do slower than 6:00. Check my run from today. I had kind of 6:40 pace! THAT is slow!

fda
Wow! El Maco coming through with the firm pace reprimand! Great to see him both walking the walk and talking the talk!
SvaraRaderaAnd to add to his comment, Mr. Legend, you are in a 5:30 - 5:39 pace holding pattern. It certainly wouldn't hurt to slow down while recuperating from the summer cold, and once you are feeling better, throw in some tempo or cruise intervals!
Hehe,OK I can take that, but please do remember that allready down by 5,39 I have slowed down at least 20seconds/km compare to what I easily should be able do run as an ER in yesterdays allmost perfect conditions ! I am also strictly checking my HR, and as long as I am a bit below 80% it should be OK.... but you are right here ... perhaps I should not go harder than lets say 70% - 73% when I am not feeling fully fresh.. I will deliver what you asked for today riday :-)
SvaraRaderaAn important thing to remember, as Mr US Coach often has reminded me of is that an Easy Run isn't necessarily at the top level of the HR. Hence for me, easy run is an easy run if I go somewhere between 140 -160 in average heart rate. But its kind of "on the edge" when I have a run that is average 158 HR. Yes, on an average its an ER but probably the last kms were >160HR. So why not try to deliver ER with HR way below those 160. For me a cool ER would be an HR <150. For Mr Legend I guess it would be a HR <130. Let us see that today Mr L!
SvaraRaderaFully agree....
SvaraRaderaLook at my last July-run (together with Marre).
Great run Mr L! Great run! I would love to see more of these runs!
