Homerun 15 Kista - Träkvista

Once again, same track, good conditions ( 7-10C, cloudy, no wind), but today I was week, not enough recovered from latest days hard work in our new house... bad sleep & pain in my back.....but anyway, this 26km was under full control....
 
On the picture, two of my early crosspoints with grocery shops (if candy or coke is needed). Left one = Bromstens torg after 5,3km and right one ICA Bällstavägen/Spångavägen after allmost 9km....

  1. Mr Legend. I honestly think that you are pushing your body too hard now. You are constantly doing stuff in your house. On top of that you always need to deliver 200km per month. Since you run too little in the beginning of the month you always need to increase a lot during the last week. I think you should rethink your strategy!

  2. You are absolutley right El Maco. From 1st of January I will cut down to max. 175km/month, that's for sure... But from all our common lessons learned it works if you slow down to pure RR-tempo sometimes. The biggest problem right now is available time......

  3. I know. But my point is that I don't know if it's wise to have a monthly goal (175km per month). Wouldn't it be better to have (if needed) a total km goal for 2011. Then you might do some monster months (250km) and some recovery months (July 100km).

  4. Yes, you may right there as well. Especially the month of July. Is it worth the price to run more than 100km, I doubt that, at least for me. July is the worst month of all for me !!! I will reconsider, but one thing is good with monthly goals, that keep you focused 12month a year. But why don't "budgeting" isolated periods, not just an average monthly total..... I may set up an monthly month-goal for each month in 2011....
